If you would like to make your very own cup of Char-Moo’s fabulous hot chocolate, here’s the secret recipe!
- 3 cups half and half or light cream
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Heat half and half or light cream with white or semi-sweet chocolate chips and simmer. Add vanilla and almond extract. Stir well. Decorate with whipped cream and/or drizzled chocolate syrup.
This makes 2 large mug portions.
Note: When my daughter was little I made this as a white version, by using white chocolate chips, then adding a little red food coloring to make it pink. As a little girl, pink was her favorite color and having pink hot chocolate to drink was a special treat!
